BA Better World Community Fund
In April 2022, we launched our BA Better World Community Fund. As part of our wider sustainability programme, it supports organisations and projects that deliver life-changing opportunities and create a positive impact in local communities across the UK.
Working in partnership with Crowdfunder, we combined generous donations from our customers and the wider public with our own contributions, raising more than £2million since the fund’s launch. The Community Fund has enabled us to offer vital financial support to over 110 organisations or projects from across the UK, all of which align with our key themes – People, Planet and Responsible Business. Examples include promoting biodiversity, tackling climate change and engaging with local communities.

Avios Launched
In November 2022, we launched another way for British Airways Executive Club Members to donate to charities through our Community Fund, by offering the option to donate Avios.
IAG Loyalty, the loyalty centre of excellence for IAG, pledged to match the value of Avios donations up to a total of £200,000* to further support UK charities, making Members’ Avios donations go twice as far.
Match funding terms and conditions can be found here.
